Is there a database out there where one can submit a list of ISBN and get back descriptions of the books? If not, how do they get all the data for the books?

Hi Commentary. Readerware works pretty well... You can put in an ISBN and pull info from site like Amazon & Half. I get most of mine via Amazon, but you need to go through it and verify... sometimes the categories aren't quite right. It will pull such things as Title, author, format, page number, year, etc.
Others may prefer Homebase or Book Trakker. Booktrakker was harder for me to use, so I never really got familar with it. Just downloaded Homebase, so can't speak for it, either. Don't know if either will pull out the info.
