Question
Hi. I've been trying to become a trading assistant on ebay but each time I go to create a profile I get this message: "We're sorry, but we were unable to carry out the requested operation. Please try again later." Has anyone else experienced this? I've posted on the TA discussion board but as of 5 minutes ago had gotten no answer. Thought I might try here to see if anyone had this problem or had any ideas.

Not something that would interest me as I have enough inventory of my own. But good luck to you.
Have you tried live help or a email to ebay ?
Try clearing your cache, and signing in again, or at a different time of day.
Ebay may have been working in this area, and/or you hit a glitch.

Hi. I meet all of the requirements and then some. Really weird. I've posted in the TA discussion board but can't seem to get an answer from any of the guys there. I have tried 3 different computers....can't figure it out. Oh well, in time hopefully.

Nancy..I've seen eBay applications act like that (broken, page not found, etc). and not be posted about on their boards or on their systems status page (not an accurate picture of the system status at ALL)..
I would recommend contacting live help (link is on the home page).
Its probably a bug..but bonus is that it may disappear quickly ..

Thanks Crystal. I contacted live help today and they gave me the link to e-mail customer support...which I'd already done! Hopefully it will work out soon. The good thing is that I'm very persistant so they won't rid of me until I'm a TA
