I just got an email stating my auction was ended. The reason was:
Your currently have more than 10 identical auction listings posted on eBay. Because your listings are in excess of our guidelines, they have been ended early by eBay. All associated fees have been credited to your account.I thought, what the heck are they talking about. Due to the misspelling of "your" in the sentence I thought it might be a spoof email, but when I went to go check my account I saw it had indeed been ended and my fees returned on the item.
I only had ONE of this item listed. I have already contacted Customer Support.
I am wondering though, does Ebay have automation that cancels auctions? No person actually looks at an "infringement" before ending an auction?
Answer
From what people have noted before, they do not always verify the infringement it appears. To me that should be a requirement since they do totally obliterate the listing, never to be seen again.

Flutterbees had this exact same problem, she posted about it on AE. That's really weird.
