New idea for my info in my auctions, what do you think?

Question
Have you seen the little blue window that pops up if you hover over an here topic/thread title? I'm thinking about using a simliar system for my eBay auctions. A small window to pop up with information when the bidder hovers over a list, say like ... shipping costs, payments accepted, terms, etc.
Do you like that little window or is it annoying? Does the window show for everyone or do I have something enabled that allows me to see it?

Answer
If the window is created with javascript I don't think ebay will let you add it. Not sure, but last time I tried to list something that had javascript in it I got a big red note saying that I needed to remove it before my listing would go through.

Answer
eBay's policy on using javascript:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/...avascript.html
Excerpt:
eBay does not permit the use of the following types of JavaScript functions in your item listing:
...
  • HTML or JavaScript that creates automatic "pop-ups" (exception - links that open in a new window when clicked on)

JMO- YMMV.

Answer
I like the idea! I find it sometimes time consuming finding shipping/handling charges on Ebay items. Anything that will make that easier I think would be a big plus! I say GO FOR IT! At least give it a try. I'd like to see one of your auctions if you do too!

That, along with music and that damn clock that follows your cursor around the page would round out my top three of the most annoying things to be found on an auction page.
Just being honest, YMMV.

Answer
Or those pages that take 3 minutes to load and then have cutsie little snowflakes dripping down the screen...ewwwww
