eBay Introducing New Deadbeat Filing Procedure on July 12

Question

Excerpt:
(first option) If buyers and sellers communicate and agree not to complete the transaction, the seller can file a "Mutual Agreement Not to Proceed" and can file it immediately... However, sellers who file a mutual agreement will lose the Final Value Fee credit if the buyer changes his or her mind and disagrees
... The other option is for sellers to file an "Unpaid Item reminder" seven days after the listing closes... Buyers and sellers can communicate with each other on the eBay site in a "dispute console."
... eBay will also allow sellers to file for Final Value Fee credits immediately in the event sellers encounter suspended (NARU) buyers or buyers from a country to which sellers designated via checkbox in Sell Your Item (or other listing tools) they won't ship. I may have left some important detail out of my excerpt so please read the whole article for all the facts.

Answer
Thanks, Irene. Geez, I wish they'd stop and take a breath between changes, at least.

Answer
... eBay will also allow sellers to file for Final Value Fee credits immediately in the event sellers encounter suspended (NARU) buyers or buyers from a country to which sellers designated via checkbox in Sell Your Item (or other listing tools) they won't ship. I guess with eBay 1 out of 3 ain't bad.
What I see happening is less sellers filing for the FVF once they realize they have to deal with the deadbeat via the eBay way.
"dispute console" ........ gimmee a break.

Answer
"If you let the camel's nose in the tent, the rest will surely follow" is an old Arabian saying.
Looks like eBay, in their never ending quest for power and money, is pushing out Square Trade. I believe ST is the last external company that gets business directly from eBay. Once eBay has their "dispute resolution" in place, good bye ST.
It won't be long before they will charge sellers by the number of words in the ad, the size of the fonts, and the quantity and size of the pictures you have posted. They may even count the keystrokes while you are visiting the site and bill it to your credit card.
