How long does it take you to list an item on ebay ??

Question
I've just returned to ebay after about 5 months away. I've been online but not Auctioning. I've been using Amazon marketplace -- Alibris - Etc Etc.
I just opened an Ebay Store last month. I am satisfied with the sales rates but the listing time is still SO SLOW.
I've been having hard time commiting to list itmes at Ebay store because my Average at the end of a session is about 10 Minutes each.
I am using TURBO LISTER
That includes photo - start to finish - but that only represents about 1 minute of the time.
I have templates for item types.
Since I sell a variety I cannot just use one item specifics list -
What do you use and how are your times to list stuff ??
I generally know what I am going to say about an item so theres not a lot of time in description patter but it all just adds up. Looking at a CSV of an item in Excel confirms that there are 100+ items that need to be confirmed or answered on every item.
I'm not talking re listings -- I am talking new items that you have not sold before.
Are you in the 10 Minute area ??
Thanks MIKE

Answer
3-5 minutes, anything over that and I am unhappy
unless of course it is a high ticket item, then I spend 10 minutes on it...

Answer
BTW, I have cut a consistent minute to 2 minutes off a listing using inkfrog....their system is easy and quick....I am averaging 3-4 minutes an item now, but on average with vendio it is 5,....so it depends on the item and the software.
I wouldn't touch an ebay product for love nor money......toooo slow, and I don't keep all my proverbial eggs in one basket.

Answer
Listing creation time for me in Turbo Lister is probably less than 1 minute an item if I'm on a roll.. but then most of my items are very similiar - I only have to edit title, one spot in description, and pic URL and go to the next one.

Answer
I break my listing chores up and it saves time.
I do all my photos at once. That saves a ton of time. (I set a goal of a certain number of items to list, then tackle it)
Then I just type fast. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_smile.gif I don't use Turbo lister though. I just use Andale. Since my info is saved from ad to ad, I just have to change the specific traits, ie. measurements, basic description, etc.

Answer
I am counting taking the pictures, renaming the pictures, editting them if neccessary-which is rarely, doing descriptions, filling in all the crap, uploading everything....
I too list in batches, usually 40 items at a time, rarely less than 20 and somedays as high as 100
All depends on the time frame available and the work schedule.

Answer
When generally listing, I name my photos with the condition in the title. It helps me since I have duplicates as well and can list both or more. Also, it only takes a few minutes since I use the same template for shipping etc. KISS remember?

Photo management is really key, and I try TRY to work on it as it makes listing easier on those free listing days or other offers by Ebay or Yahoo. I just wish that Turbo Lister would store those templates/listings longer than they do.

Answer
I've never had Turbo Lister NOT save any of my listings or listing templates...
