Question
I first thought it was my server but today I have had about a dozen returned emails that say they can't get thru. It is happening with using the ebay "send a message" as well as aol, cox and others.
Anyone? anyone?
Answer
Janet,
One of the benifits of not selling much, no emails to bounce http://community.here.com/infopop/em...on_biggrin.gif
Might have to start a thread titled, "10 best reasons not to sell" http://community.here.com/infopop/em.../icon_wink.gif
Our auctions end a little later. If I reply with the picture of a smashed computer, you know I am also having problems http://community.here.com/infopop/em...n_rolleyes.gif
Answer
Janet, I've been having issues like that for a about a week or so... many bounce backs or just plain no responses so I can't say if my emails are getting received or not....
Answer
For me, no current bouncing problems. I was getting similar about 12 months ago, which was very problematic.
Have a look at your title and email structures, and see if they are likely to be being blocked as spam (particularly if you changed your wording of EOA's recently).
Good luck, I know how frustrating it is.
Kind Regards, Kevin
Answer
I haven't had many/any returned or bounced but:

THAT is what I have been dealing with for at least the past month. And not just on AOL but through my web email too. It's VERY frustrating.
Answer
thanks all!
It seemed like such a problem yesterday.
So far today I sent about 50 and none have been returned. Keeping my fingers crossed!!
Answer
I had a number of auctions end last night and I did receive 8 "Warning: could not send message for past 4 hours" emails - 7 of them were from AOL accounts (the 8th was cs.com)
The emails that "I" sent were automated Andale messages with my return address.
Answer
yep, I had a bunch more today after a lull. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_frown.gif

... thanks for posting this:

I have noticed a huge decline in received emails to my AOL account* over the past few weeks to a couple months even, and it's frustrating because while you (the sender) get those "can't send" messages, we on the other end don't get anything.

I am starting to wonder how many potential clients I am losing and don't even know it.
* even SPAM ... I used to get a 'normal' amount of spam here and I am currently getting maybe one piece a WEEK. (withOUT any filters set) And yeah thats good but not if it means I am not getting regular email too.
