Buyer was angry he received his shipment notice seven days after Paypal payment. I can understand his anger, of course. But he called me an a**hole which did not sit well with me. So I refunded his money and got FVF credit. There are certain boundaries I draw with customers and cursing is one of them.

I just got one of those. Item was misdescribed (there are a few things I don't know in certain subj areas, and looking for a similar item isn't foolproof) and he came out with both guns blazing.
It is my policy to refund fully with shipping both ways, let's see if the 2nd message is as hostile as the first.

I just laugh... I sometimes wonder how miserable someones life must be to take things so seriously and to be so 'mean' to someone.. Their life must really suck..

I had an auction close and the buyer never replied to my emails. I continued to write nicely for I think about 3 weeks. I filed to get my fees and out of the darkness came the buyer. Man! the four-letter-words that were spewed in the email she sent me. I wrote back calmly and professionally. It blows my mind when people go straight to hostile...

I think people are a lot braver using email then they ever would be in person.
If someone announces themselves with vulgarity, I have no time for them. It signals me right up front that there will be no talking to this buyer.

My motto is quite simple:

I do not sell sh!t
I am not in the sh!t business.
And though I took some nastiness as a newbie, as a red star seller I have no tolerance for it. I cancel the transaction and leave a neg. Not necessarily in that order.
