Question
I have a question about feedbacks. I got the following from the ebay site:
"Multiple Non-Paying Buyer Warnings could result in permanent suspension of your eBay account."
How many negative feedbacks does a person have to have to be suspended? I am speaking of a dead beat buyer I had on one of my items.
The person has 8 feedbacks with 3 negatives from different sellers. I think this person should be suspended. What do you think?http://community.here.com/infopop/em...s/icon_mad.gif
Answer
The general guideline I believe is that a buyer must receive three non paying bidder alerts from different sellers. A seller may leave negative feedback, but perhaps did not file an NPB Alert. The buyer can also ask eBay to have one NPB Alert removed, which would make the total allowable up to 4 times.

Hi, thanks so much for your answer. Now I understand how it works. Phyllis http://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_smile.gif
Answer
I think it is FVF and not NPB. You can get all the NPBs and no effect. When 3 sellers file for the FVF, then you are gone.
Answer
Right. My mistake.
Answer
It takes 3 FVF's from unique sellers to get a buyer NARU and I "think" they will also go NARU with a "-3" feedback. Of course if they they have 7 positives and 3 negatives that doesn't count. It has to acutally go to a "total" of "-3". AT least that's the way it used to be.

You know I bet it would be scarey how many sellers have no idea there is such thing as an NPB, or FVF form.
I know I had never heard of them untill I saw them mentioned here at here many moons ago.
