Question
PLEASE, no one take this the wrong way. This is NOT a manifesto, just an inquiry. Does anyone know of a board like here, only it's geared towards website owners - development, promotion, search engine tips, etc.?
I'll always have to check in at here to see what's happening, but the "strictly eBay" stuff just doesn't interest me much anymore, and I'd like to find someplace (just like here) where they are website/small business owners.

I don't know of any, but understand where you are coming from, it's a natural progression really. Cobaltlady (mike) might know of some. Perhaps he has email enabled to reach him thru this board. If not I believe his website is listed in his sig. line.

Litle by little alot of us are abandoning eBay for other venues, including websites.
Since the rate increase I have only been able to bring myslef to relist one regular selling item.
With hundreds in merch gathering dust....
Maybe tomorrow, I say.

Hello Melinda. I don't think it's just like here but a good place for website owners to frequent is http://www.webmasterworld.com/
They also have a private forum dealing with Webmaster, Tech, and Business issues which you may want to join.
I've heard that SitePoint which Irene mentioned is a good place to check out as well.

I also hope that they will create a discussion board for website owners here (or change this one to auction/website discussion only). I'd hate to see any of the ppl who post on this forum leave, taking their experience with them!
but, I'd also be interested if anyone finds a forum of experienced website owners. Hopefully, we will become that down the road.

While I think it may take a site like webmastersworld to meet the advanced needs of many users it would be great if there was a Forum here where ideas could be shared and discussed.
Other sites might well have a larger number of users with great tech insight and practical experience, I doubt the here attitude or the eBay ecommerce roots will exist elsewhere.
