Question
Customer did a typo in listing my address.
One letter missing. Apparently AOL has a customer using that email and my customer received confirmation from PayPal of money sent.
Any suggestion that I can share with him about cancelling that transaction?

Answer
I'd suggest he send a "dear sir" letter to the typo'd email, explain what he had done, and request the accidental beneficiary go to the PayPal site, make a couple of clicks, and refund the transfer. That procedure is done with no percent penalty to anyone, money completely refunded back into the sender's account.
How you'd handle it through PP, I have no idea. Most people are honest and would be quick to help out and do the refund, I would think.
Answer
Give him the Paypal number and have him call.
This has happened to me a few times lately and calling is the easiest way I've found.

Answer
I've had this happen a number of times from bidders, I just have them resend the payment to me. usually it goes to a non exhisting address's, & just goes uncollected & is returned to them after a certian time.

Answer
Does the buyer show "pending" or "completed" on their Paypal account?
If pending, they can cancel it on their end.
if completed, you're left with a Dear Sir, please return my money email to the person who received it - and they can do a Buyer Complaint if they don't get a response.
