Is the eBay Keywords program like google adwords?
Has anyone tried it.
They are offering a free $50 trial until March 31st, is it worth trying?

We've tried it... not a lot of results, I don't think the click-thru rate is at all good on banners ads on ebay, people seem to hate them!
Lots of impressions, very, very, few clicks. But I think the clicks that we got did help sales, as far as we could tell. We wouldn't use it as a paying service.
It's not really hard to set up, but admarketplace doesn't do a good job explaining anything on their web site. Think of about 50 - 100 different search terms before starting, you'll need that many before you can get enough varied traffic! We just kept going back and adding more and more to ours, because we started out with about five terms, which was a mistake. I used them quite a bit and did quite well with them.
So much depends on what you sell and what type of customers you have. It certainly is aimed at sellers with lots of the same items and type of stock.
