Within the next few weeks, eBay will no longer support the “Other Online Payment Methods” and “Cash on Delivery (COD)” payment methods in the Sell Your Item form or in our listing tools. These payment methods are infrequently selected by sellers during the listing process, or by buyers in checkout. Removing these payment methods will simplify the Payment Methods section of the SYI form and other listing tools.
Sellers who offer COD or Other Online Payment Methods options may still continue to do so. Sellers should select the “Other – See Payment Instructions” option, and specify the payment methods offered in the Payment Instructions field.
The COD and Other Online Payment methods will remain on existing listings that offer these payment methods. For all new listings or relisted items, these payment methods will be removed. Note: If you use a listing tool, you will need to de-select these payment methods before uploading your listings to eBay.
