Question
I have a buyer from March who filed a chargeback with PayPal. The buyer had a confirmed address, and I shipped with tracking, so I'm covered. The chargeback was filed on 5/26 and I sent along the tracking information on the same day. I know it was a holiday weekend and all, but it's "still being reviewed". How long does the review process take before I get the money back?

I am going through the same thing. My first. Had a buyer from March file a chargeback. That was May 4th and I still haven't seen my money. I sent PayPal all the info on the package & tracking info. They told me it could take 30 days. I am calling PayPal today to see where the HE*! is my money. My chargeback buyer was kicked off Ebay & can't receive or send money via PayPal. But yet, PayPal is holding my money hostage.

it happend to me a couple of years ago
like you I was covred I had proof of delevery I had shipped to a confirmed address.
I think it took about a week for them to clear it I was pleasantly surprised
as I recall I never received any offcial notification the money just reappered
of course that was before ebay owned it so who knows now.

The last time I had one they had the money back in my account 3 days after I sent them the email with my tracking number etc. that they asked for.

That's what any credit card processor does when they get a chargeback notice.

After seeing that most people received there money back so soon, I contacted PayPal via the phone. My buyer paid for the item in March & received the item in March. Then on May 4, I received the email from PayPal stating that I was the recipient of potentially
fraudulent funds. Paypal took that money from me & it shows as a pending reversal to the buyer. We are talking close to $300.00. I responded to PayPal with all the pertinent info - tracking # info & I did ship to the confirmed PayPal address.
I don't know if that claim that the buyer made constitutes a chargeback or not. Maybe that is why my situation is taking so DA%! long. I don't know. Tomorrow will be the 30th day & I should receive my money back but I doubt it. When I called today, they haven't heard from the buyer since they filed the claim in early May. Supposedly, they said it would be wrapped up in the next few days.
