Question
eBay auction
Peace,
Sadie
Answer
I have a few issues with that auction - and not because of what it is.
This statement: "There is only one available as all of the rest have been destroyed!"
THAT is patently false.
Then the seller goes on to include the entire text of the associated news article. A copyright infringement.
And then this answer given to a question: "I am listing this item to educate the public as to the situation of the terror toys."
RIIIIGGGGHHHTT!
I hope ebay pulls it quickly.
Answer
I'm sorry, but this seller has serious comprehension issues.
He keeps claiming in his Q&A emails that the toy has not been recalled. Yet he states in his own words in the auction description that it has been recalled, and then he even reprints a news article that it has been recalled.
Yo! Dude! It has been RECALLED!
Answer
One more reason that the questions and answers shouldn't be displayed on ebay... Bad ebay...as for the auction...what is there to say but bad auction...
Answer
I sure hope ebay gets rid of it before the news picks it up. He's casting sellers in a bad light for those that have yet to discover ebay.
Answer
Hmmm, I predict another $99,999,999.000 bid for this item, a la the wedding dress.
Answer
Probably right. It's at $5000 now by a 0 bidder.
Answer
That doesn't accomplish much as it also drives the real bids up too. The seller can just go through the list making second chance offers at each bidder's maximum until he finds someone willing to pay.
Answer
Well, I expect the auction to be erased soon anyway since it's been reported, and by those bidders placing it through the roof they have already demonstrated to him that the auction is effectively dead.
Answer
I predict a sudden upsurge in customers at stores that sell mexican candy tomorrow morning.
