Question
Just got two more of these in as many days. The most recent one made me do a double take because they sent it in the courier (plain text) font, which is what most paypal messages use. Of course, their "link" goes to some phony paypal site.
Dead giveaway: Official Messages from paypal will have a salutation with the users name, whereas phonies will start off with something like "Dear Paypal Member".
Posted primarily for the benefit of any newbies and also to do my bhearsch awareness deed for the day.

I've got you beat, WBBell. I received a phony message supposedly from eBay a couple of days ago asking for my password. I did a TRIPLE take!!! http://community.here.com/infopop/em...s/icon_eek.gif Here's the e-mail:

I'm kind of bewildered how I ended up on an Italian's scammer's list. I only sell on eBay U.S. (and the e-mail address is only used for that purpose) and only started to actively list again last week, after an absence of some months.
I also don't speak Italian! The e-mail was sort of easy to figure out though.
