Question
OMG. Ebay has to love it!
No, I won't humiliate the seller by posting the auction here, but it starts at $1.55 (Reserve Not Met), with a $4.50 BIN price.
Didn't that cost the seller a buck to put the reserve on it (if it doesn't sell I mean)?
I also see tons of auctions starting at $10.00, $25.00, $50.00, instead of $9.99, $24.99, etc.
Ever wonder how much extra money ebay makes by sellers doing this? http://community.here.com/infopop/em.../icon_wink.gif

Hey busker did you get my email?
Answer
Hi SMX,
Yes, I'll get back tomorrow, thank you.
Answer
I can't believe someone would list an item with a reserve that they only want $4.50 for in the first place. Of course I'm probably confused. There must be some logic in there somewhere.
Answer
Reserve in a $4.50 item is kinda crazy and the auctions that start at the $10.00 and $25.00 etc drive me crazy also and it's not always the newer ebayer that do it. I've seen some veteran ebayers do it!!! http://community.here.com/infopop/em...s/icon_eek.gif
check out my auctions
Answer
it is only .50 cents for the reserve on 4.50 now...
but having a reserve is the same as having a second bidder at times...
reserve is 4.50....opening bid is 1.55 and the bidder throws a proxy of 5.00 on there, it will jump to 4.50 and they get their reserve fee back. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...on_biggrin.gif
