Question
I haven't listed on Ebay in ages...and seem to have forgotten everything I did know, together with the fact that the computer I used is screwed up.
But now, I have to sell some stuff and it all seems Greek to me - specifics, zillions of choices for extra everything, etc. I don't remember how/where I learned it in the first place, but I feel like I'm starting from scratch.
I seem to remember there was some kind of code you could put in the description to link to your own pictures in addition to the one you get with the listing as opposed to paying for more? Does it still work, and if so, what is it?
Buy it Now didn't exist. Is it worth using? I thought I remembered a post about someone loving it but I can't find it.
I have a couple larger items to get rid of...NIB printers, etc. I was thinking Craigslist instead due to shipping considerations, but I'm a bit worried - do you meet them somewhere else other than your house?

It still works.
Here is what I use:

If the photo is large, it will show a "thumbnail" in the auction and allow them to click to see a larger image. I put my photo text in my auction description.

BINs work for some items. Not for others. If you see quite a few selling on eBay and it has a constant price, then BINs are great!

I've met folks at the little plaza on the corner of x & y (well known streets) and given a precise parking location or car description. Same idea if you sell on eBay and select local pickup only.
