$ for books

Question
Howdy, just before I left for Thailand I cleared out a good chuck of my half/amazon book stock thru this site.

The $ was not great, just OK, but they did take a lot of books off my hands.
The process was easy, a bit slow, but easy.
Enter in a isbn#, if they want it they give you a price.
Click a link, print up a packing order and mailer (they pay for shipping).
Check it out.
If there are other sites like this let me know....

This list is interesting. I think if you lived near a university where books get abandoned at the end of semesters, this might be a good way to move them out fast... It looks as though current textbooks do fairly well (as long as you weren't the person who purchased them new at the college bookstore. lol)
Or it would work for a situtation like Scott's, when he needed to move books quickly and with little pain....

Answer
If I'm going to type in a ISBN number it will be on Amazon and get better money for them, that's where these companies sell them. But, if you need to clear out books fast and don't care about the money then this is easy enough.

Answer
heck, the books I want to move don't even know
what an ISBN number IS!
A very nifty idea for liquidating books fast though.

I never knew about this site, thank you!

Answer
Re: Amazon/Half. Of course those have better $ if you can sit on your stock until you get the price you want.
But hey, if you need to clear out, it's pretty good.
I sold some books that had been sitting on Half for almost 2 years * .75 cents. Got like .30-50 cents for them.
Others, I knew that if I could afford to wait I'd get $10, $15. $4books gave me about $1.50 for.
But like I said, I was moving, happy to be rid of it and make cab fare to the airport.
