Question
OK, I must have gone stupid all of a sudden. I can't for the life of me figure out how to change the custom message in my eBay checkout invoices. I find what appears to be the right place in My eBay preferences, but it says these items have been moved to Marketing Tools. When I get to Marketing Tools there is no place to do it that I can find. I'm ready to tear my hair out!!!! I discovered a typo in the message I've got and desperately want to correct it!
Thanks for any help!
Answer
When you get to marketing tools, look on the left hand side at the links. Under Logos and Branding
Customize End of Auction Emails
Customize Checkout & Invoice
I think that might be what you want.
Answer
Yep! I get there, but when I click on those things I can't find anything to let me access the custom message part--it seems to be only for a logo.
Answer
After you click on Customize End of Auction Emails, then click on "Change" link in upper right side. I think that will do it.
Answer
Thanks, that works for the EOA email, but it still doesn't get me to a place where I can customize/edit the message in my invoices. It only allows me to add a logo.

Well, rats. My comes up with a message. Also, the other message that I've noticed on invoices is the same thing that shows in the Seller's Payment Instructions from the bottom of the listing. If that's the wording you need to change you would need to do it from whereever you create your listings. The SYI form or Turbo Lister, etc.
Good Luck!
Answer
Well, I now see what you mean. I clicked on the Customize Invoice link and the Change there and there is no place to put a message at all even though they indicate there should be.!! Another "improvement" gone wrong.
I just didn't use that area. When I make a sale, if I need to invoice, I just click on the "Send Invoice" button in the listing and at that point I can change to message. I do a cut and paste from a stored notepad and change what is needed for the individual listing.
Answer
Thanks, Laura! I'll check my listings to see if the typo is there, too. I'm so glad to know that it''s not just me afterall. Whew!
