Question
I can not get through to this buyer.
Every email I send bounces.
They finally sent me an email thru ebay's ask seller a question.
But When I replied to it. Bouncy bouncy.
I tried typing out the email address instead of replying, but that didn't work any better.
Any suggestions?

It must be catching, or we have the same buyer.
I have one that sent me an email (so I know he thinks his email works) saying he didn't get an invoice and what is the total.
Well, I have tried for three days and they all bounce. He sent his through Ebays ask seller a question. I replied through that and maybe it went through, but if not I am afraid I will get negged for not contacting himhttp://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_frown.gif

But, I am not going to start calling these people up so I will just wait and see. That didn't answer your question though, because I have never used the contact info on Ebay. Just wanted you to know you weren't alone.

You can try going through Ebay's email server in case the buyer's server is blocking your server. I go into the buyer's feedback and click on their ID, that way Ebay doesn't supply the email address and I can send a message through Ebay. That has worked for me in the past.
I have also had a military address that just will not take my emails from two servers, and I think that they may block foreign domains (just a guess) and had to forward my emails to someone in USA and get them to forward my emails to the buyer.
Both inconvenient, but possibly worth trying.

"Where do you find contact info on eBay?"
Click on search - then click on Find Members under the search tab. Fourth box down is "Contact Info". You will need the auction number to be able to pull up their contact info.

I had a similar problem and it turned out that the buyer had all emails blocked except people that they knew. It turned out that they were an aol user, so the way I finally got in touch with them was IM.

I'm not calling anyone else, I'm just going to file npb's after seven days and move on.
Email with all this spam blocker crap is really becoming a pain.

This is the Postfix program at host spambutcher.tor.pathcom.com.
My guess is that someone on your ISP has sent a heap of spam and now the spam blocking services are stopping your emails getting through. I had this happen with webTV a few years ago, at the time I had about 6 buyers and the webmaster refused to allow my emails into their clients because of spam sent by a domain that my server used. Boy, was that a pain.
As I have said several times, spam protection causes more problems for legitimate business than the actual spam.
