Question
From an auction:
1993 Holiday Barbie in Red gown Keepsake Hallmark Ornament Retired - $100
1994 Holiday Barbie in black & white swimsuit (1959 Debut)Keepsake Hallmark Ornament - $40
1994 Holiday Barbie in gold gown Keepsake Hallmark Ornament - $40
1995 Holiday Barbie in green gown Keepsake Hallmark Ornament - $30
THIS IS A GREAT CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!!! BUY THEM ALL OR BUY THEM SEPARATELY!!!!!
Bolding mine.
This seller only has 14 F/B, but has been a member since 12/2002. The auction has a BIN price of $210.00, which is the price that each of the four ornaments add up to.
I feel sorry for sellers who put up auctions like this and pay exorbitant fees, but not sorry enough to BIN that auction. I think the fees could easily add up on this auction, especially if they get a NPB.
Have you ever seen it stated in an auction to buy them all or separately? Is that even legal according to eBay? Weird to me.
Now, this is a person who needs here, don'tcha think?
Answer
Of course it's not legal...
A person who could use some training, that's for sure...
Answer
My understanding is that according to Ebay, its not legal to do anything optional, i.e. you can't offer different sizes of shoes, choices of colors, or a giftwrap for $2 extra option, listings are supposed to be "what you see is what you get" and I would think buy one or buy them all is definitely offering options, therefore a no no.
Answer
There are very limited areas where choices are allowed, and rules for them.
THis definitely isn't falling under one of those exceptions.
