Question
I visited WP2 for the first time, and have to admit I liked the site.
Knowing the ownership and their abilities, I'm still not going to give them any of my info.
No this isn't just a rehash, I do have a question.
I have a serious problem with the $10.00 store fee.
The way I see it, while the faithful sellers eat gruel waiting for WP to take off.
Ray is eating steak to the tune of $8000 a month.
Now in most startup businesses the owner puts out a large chunk of cash, and takes all the risk.
I don't see this in the sameway.
Now we all know its a $500.00 program. Would he have had to buy a state of the art computer system to run it?
Is there a big ad campaign this store money might be going toward?
Spaming the boards is free.
Is my personal animosity toward Ray clouding this issue? Or is it as I expect just a con, and a very successful one at that.

I think you hit the nail on the head in another thread Doofy. The only one making any money off of WP2 is Ray.
He's a 'salesman' - that's what he said over and over at WP1. That's what he does. That's what he's good at. Remember the "upsell" lectures at FAS? That was his big thing. The people he is selling to are the storekeepers not the bidders.

Not likely, IMO. Ray seems to be even less forthcoming about advertising plans than he was the first time around. It's all shrouded in mystery and spin. Oh, and lots of Koolaid being passed out.

WP was up and running before. Ray closed it down with no warning to the sellers who invested time. That's WP1
Now he's opened it again. That's WP2
