PP Account Options & FireFox

Question
Customer has been complaining for several weeks that he can not pay me without having a PayPal account. I keep telling him just to enter his credit card info and that he does not need a PayPal account to use PayPal.
He is now sending a money order, he gave up.
Today, I go to make a payment for something. I will use my PayPal account but decided to see if I ran into the same problem. Sure enough, had to have a PayPal account. Did not even get the screen to enter a credit card number. Tried taking out my email address and PayPal insisted on having a PayPal account. So, decided to try the same thing in IE.
In IE I had the options of entering credit card info or using or signing up for a PayPal account. In Fire Fox that option does not appear.
So, the problem appears to be a PayPal code problem and how FireFox handles that code.
Has anyone else run into this problem?
QUICK FOLLOW UP - at the top of this page there is (or was when I looked) a Paypal donate button. If you click on that from within FireFox, you must hav a Paypal account to pay. If you click on it from within Internet Explorer, a PP account is optional.

I don't know about eBay, but I use FireFox, and the "Donate" button on here allows me to either log into PayPal, or to start entering my credit card info right there on the screen. It says: "Complete your information to pay by credit card, or log in to pay quickly and securely with PayPal."
Maybe there's a setting that needs to be changed?

Answer
Moonrise, thanks. If a few others could take a look and see if they get the same... who knows, could be an interaction problem with anti spyware, anti-viurs and firefox.... if anyone else has the same problem please let me know and then maybe we can try to isolate it.
I would normally say that it was the customer not understanding paypal, but now that I have the problem and Moonrise does not, it is going to take some investigation.
Thanks again!

Answer

Thanks!

Answer
FireFox here too. I get the CC option as well.
Do you have the NoScripts option? If it is showing the red "S" (not allowed) that might be the problem. You might need to allow paypal or paypalobjects.

Several more customers have called today having this problem, and they are all using Fire Fox. I asked them to use IE and it worked for all of them. Just what I need - as Christmas Times gets closer, PayPal is up to their usual - changing things and breaking them.

Answer
Firefox here too.
The page starts out suggesting I get a PP acct, but if you scroll down a bit there's a box that lets you enter your credit card.

Do not have the NoScripts option.
Problem did not exist last week. Have added no scripts or updates in last 10 days other then a windows update yesterday. Going to install FF on a PC here that does not have it and see what happens, although it also had the WinUpdate done on it. PayPal has had two maintenance updates in the past week... but then why is this effecting some of us and not others.
Going to take some work to figure this out. The more that reply the faster we may be able to trouble shoot it. Will check PayPal boads later today and see if anything there. Will call tech support as well but we all know what good that will do.
BTW, I have AVG free, Zone Alarm free and Spy Sweeper if that helps anyone thinking about this.
