Question
I was just looking at ebay and decided to put an item in my watch for research and when I scrolled to the bottom of the page the shipping calculator has someone else zip code in it. Mine usually shows up. This one was San Francisco. I deleted my cookies and cache but should I go in and change my password with ebay or do you think it might just be a glitz with the shipping calculator
Answer
Doubtfull it compromized your account. Keep an eye on it, and it does not hurt to change passwords once in a while.
Answer
It's happened to me as well. It might be that I put someone else's zip in because they asked me what shipping would be to their zip, and I merely used the ebay shipping calculator.

I think your right. I believe it holds the last entered one but I'm not sure about that.
Answer
I've never put anyone else's zip code in and it is like one minute I was on ebay and my zip code was there and the next item someone else's zip was there.
I had to change my passwords last week as ebay sent me a email saying someone was trying to hack into my account and I did get emails from someone asking me to pay for an auction I never bought. It was for hundreds of dollars too.
I had been out of town for a few days when this was happening and Icame home to these emails. Surely they couldn't have figured out my password so fast. Maybe nothing to worry about but after last week it shock me up.

Hmm your computer may be compromised. run a trojen finder as well as your anti virus and spyware.
Answer
In either of those emails, did you click a link to log into eBay? I've had notices from eBay (fake), and emails from supposed sellers saying I'd bought something too, (also fake). They are phishing emails most likely.
