How do you guys list items in mass quantity?
I am a trading assistant for northwest Louisiana, and I have well over 1,000 items backlogged to list for anxious customers. It takes me about 3-4 minutes to list a nice looking auction.
Given this amount of work it would take me about 70 solid hours even if I hit it as hard as I could. Meanwhile the list of items is building faster than I can list.
Does anybody have something where you can list in seconds rather than minutes?
Am I going to have to access the API and write something custom if I want to go faster?

Maybe you need to cut back the number of things you accept?
Maybe pick a cut-off price? Or figure out which things can be done with only minor changes to your template plus one photo. Or both.

Use one of the many auction management systems out there.
I use auction wizard 2000 (www.auctionwizard2000.com) - you create your template, then all you need to do is add a photo and a brief description. The software handles uploads the auction(s) to ebay, including uploading the pics to your own ftp site.
It also handles all the emails you need to send out, your shipping lables, and invoices.

1.Where are you trying to list to? Yahoo, Ebay, otherwise?
2.CSV template works.
3.You can download your listings from ebay turbolister, then manipulate it to fit other auctions for the most part.

I use auctiontamer to list mine. It does other auctions also not just ebay.
