List it Dutch -or- include language you'll make underbidder 2nd chance offers?

Question
I have 8 yards of some popular fabric.
Should I list it Dutch in 4 lots of 2 yards each ...
--OR--
Should I list an auction for 2 yards and indicate I'll be making 3 underbidder 2nd chance offerings?
Would I get in trouble for making it clear I'll do 2nd chance offers?
Would that spur interest or earn me disdain from you as a buyer?
Comments please.

Answer
I'm not a fabric seller, so there might be permutations of the market
I am unaware of....
but.....
If it is popular fabric, why use Dutch OR 2nd chance? Just list it in
separate auctions and let it rip!
I get duplicates of things sometimes, and never list Dutch.
Maybe the bidder that lost in the first auction will bid MORE in
the second!
However, if I had to choose between your options, I would list it Dutch.

Answer
There was a thread about this in the textile forum a while ago.
Give me a minute to see if I can find it.
