Paypal got sued for freezing peeps accounts, causing monetary damage (bounced checks, etc.) Paypal lost the suit.
Plaintiffs were offered about $50 to cash out quick, or they (I) could file the long form. The long form basically allowed you to name the figure you thought Paypal owed you -- running into hundreds or thousands of dollars, but you did have provide a basis of substantiation.
Basically anyone who conducted business with Paypal during a certain time period -- may have been about 2002 -- and had a peeve with Paypals business practices qualified for the quick $50.
Those who filed the long form were "lost in oz" over when their settlement would be considered.
