relisting suggestions?

Question
Wondering if anyone has any suggestions? Apparently we are in the "select" group who is being forced into the new SYI form. We have over 200 items up, about 30 are auctions, the rest in the store. All were listed on ebay, not through 3rd party software.
We routinely relist the 30 auction items and anything from the store that is sold. Used to take seconds using auctionsage. Now auctionsage can't relist (been through the support thing with John and apparently we're just out of luck) and it's taking me FOREVER.
Just to relist you have to go through 2- 3 screens that jump around all over the place (physically, the screen just bounces around), loses information that was in the listing (like BIN, photos and shipping to Canada) and spits out red errors that are totally nonsensical if you try to put that information back in. All I can say is the new SYI form is really buggy.
I'm ready to pull my hair out. I'd pay for a program that would relist for me. Are there any? Any other ideas? I'm on the verge of just closing down ebay for the summer.
Thanks,
Maryanne, Cat Rescue of Maryland

You might check vrane. I know they have something called power relister. I have never used it and can't tell you any more than that. It may or may not be what you need. Sorry I don't have more information.

Sign in to eBay
Use the following link:
http://cgi5.ebay.com/ws2/eBayISAPI.dll?RelistItem&Item=
after the equal sign in the url, just type in the item number (I have a list so I cut and paste) or you can wait for the error message and type in the item number in the box
hit ctrl+end to reach bottom of page
click on relist

Answer
I will try both this weekend!! Thanks so much for the suggestions. Maryanne

Answer
Hi Maryanne.
If you go into my ebay you should be able to to a multiple relist. I do it all the time.

There are many bugs with the new syi form but I've reported a bunch and some have actually been fixed. Hopefully the rest will be. It appears that if one is doing a NEW listing, he/she can choose to use the old or new form but if the listing is a re-listing of one created with the new, you can't escape it. If you make any revisions, you are likely to get a bogus red alert to fix the highlighted part but nothing is highlighted and NOTHING will satisfy the form's desire to make your life hell. I've tried pretty much everything to no avail. Notes to and discussions with "live help" have only resulted in messages suggesting that the techs are working on the bugs and to go back to the old form in the meantime! It makes you want to go out there an wring some necks! Why couldn't they actually make the thing work BEFORE they asked us to try it?

I'm still about ready to scream. Am checking out vrane but talk about a site with no hint as to how to do anything! And for now I'm using the relist link provided. Actually seems like if I set it to use the old form the relist link is the old version also. Slow going typing in each item number to relist but still better than it was. I've given up trying to change anything when relisting - even things that were right before - as the red error messages just drive me batty. Maryanne

I used the old listing form when I listed last. I go to MyeBay sold items and find the one I want to relist...click relist...and the entire original form comes up. I change anything I want to change (if anything) and click submit. This worked for me 5 days ago. Granted, I have to do one item at a time but it's no biggie.
Perhaps you had an easier way that no longer works?

You either know how to use it or don't bother with the site.
I am not sure why it takes you a long time to relist. I have a list of my unsolds and their eBay numbers so I just cut and paste and not have to type them in. It only takes me about 15 seconds to relist an item. Even if you have to type in the item number, it should only be about a minute a relist.

Most of the time is in trying to get past the error messages! But also it's relative, I know. When before I could relist 30 items in a few seconds, now - even at a minute a relist if there were no errors - it's half an hour. From something I didn't have to think about to something I have to schedule time for (cause with the errors it takes a lot longer) it makes a difference.
