I just opened a store on Etsy and I seem to be getting a lot of hits on my items but no purchases as of yet. Is anyone here doing well on Etsy?

Gosh, thanks for mentioning Etsy. I had never heard of it, but I have an artist friend who makes fused glass pendants. I'll be sure to pass it along to her.
I'll be selling some of her work on eBay -- or trying to -- but from what I understand handmade objects can be a tough sell on the Big E.

I have been considering listing some of my beaded jewelry on Etsy but haven't had the time as of yet. I browse through it once in awhile and it seems like pretty nice stuff listed.

Quite heavy with Flash, but a nice looking site overall. I bet they wouldn't like what I make by hand.

Oh, God-where my mind was with that statement
I'm browsing, but the site is slow and hangs a little. But the biggest thing would be things like when I click on children-I do NOT want a bunch of baby things, my kids aren't toddlers but I can find no way to find older kids things, so I'd imagine there exists a category problem.
Very nice stuff, still browsing right now.

A fair number of regulars from the Ebay Stores board have listed on Etsy and have had some success. They seem to like the site, too.

I've had 4 sales there this year - good traffic - but few sales - but the fees are reasonable..
Also participated in a contest there this past month, and our entry sold for a good sum of $ (which we donated to charity)
