eBay Is Slowly and Painfully Driving Me Out of my Mind!!

Question
eBay has reset my password 3 times since March 22 including today. I have no clue why, just something about my account might have been compromised. I have double and triple checked everything and nothing is amiss. I am in everything multiple times every day. I'm going nuts. I just sent them a note to ask if they would please tell me what is going on that is triggering this! It's driving me nuts. Every time they do that I have to go to three other places to put in the new password including two of their own (PayPal and Turbo Lister). I know it's real because the messages are also in my message box on my eBay.
It's sure not the fun it used to me. My frustration level with it all is going way up!

Answer
Laura, I haven't had this problem, YET!!! I must say though that your subject line spoke volumes to me...I would personally tweak it though "eBay is QUICKLY and painfully driving me out of my mind!!!"

Answer
LOP, when it happened to me it was caused by a third party trying to access my account with an old password. Log into your account and scroll down to General Preferences and check your third party authorizations. If you see one that you havent authorized, just uncheck it.
Of course, it could be caused by something else but it sure sounds like what happened to me and eBay was no help at all. Someone here on here told me about the third party thing or I might have given up in frustration.

Thanks, unfortunately I've checked that every time and the ones that are there are the ones that are supposed to be (Andale, Auctiva, Omniture, and some eBay function) so if that is the problem then I'd like to know it because I'll have to think of something new.
Oh, well.....this too shall pass (I hope). Thanks for all the good thoughts. It's just some days it is so upsetting and I don't upset easily.

Why do you have all those? Why not clear them all out and see if you still have a problem?

(I think you said you did, but it sounds to me as though they've changed the password on you so often that something could have slipped through)
Could you turn off any of these things for a short period (several days?) to see it that would help?
Good luck with this -- hope it improves soon!
