Media mail still exist?

Question
I used to sell on eBay but I've taken a couple years off. I'm getting ready to sell off a bunch of stuff that I've been accumulating, starting with a overgrown dvd collection.
I used to sell all kinds of odds and ends and I would ship books and movies with media mail. Just checked out the USPS website and I can't find information on it anywhere. I would just hate to have to ship these for over $2 a piece. Does media mail still exist? I haven't shipped anything in 2 years, I can't believe how much things have changed at the post office.
Any help will be appreciated!
Tanya

Answer
Not a whole lot of difference today between media mail and $2.

Answer
For 6 ounces and under you are better off with First Class rather than Media mail.

Answer
Media Mail draws complaints as it is very slow regarding deliveries. Zip Code relevant.

First class under 16 oz. Better. Priority Best for turnaround time in my case.

Answer
With media mail you will need to add "return postage guaranteed" to your labels if you want the PO to return a "lost" item to you. Otherwise they are likely to dump it in the garbage if it is undeliverable.
For single DVDs & CDs & valuable books, use First Class or Priority Mail.

For single DVDs & CDs & valuable books, use First Class or Priority Mail. Media mail is automatic return if undeliverable. Bound printed matter is thrown away if you do not indicate return postage.

Answer
Yup, a single DVD or CD would be less expensive via First Class...
$1.11 or $1.35 vs. $1.59
