Question
When I get to Payments options on the ebay selling page, it is automatically marked with one of these promotions - no interest for 30 days using paypal; or no payment for items over $100 if use paypal, or some such crap.
I cannot UNCHECK it. It says if you don't want to do it, change your prerferences. I have looked all over My Ebay, and can't find the ^%$^%$ thing.
Can someone tell me how to uncheck that stupid-azz box, and dang ebay for getting me automatically on this stupid thing anyway.
TIA.../.
Answer
My eBay > My Account Preferences (left hand tool bar menu) > Selling Preferences > Payment from Buyers
When you click that you will see these choices:
Payment from buyers Hide
Use checkout
Offer PayPal on my listings
Display "PayPal Preferred" on my listings
Display PayPal Buyer Credit financing options
Include my items when buyers pay all their sellers at once using PayPal
Allow buyers to edit payment totals
Use this payment address
See Addresses under My Account.
Use sales tax table
You have to hit the edit key to change the values you have set (or that they set for you).
Answer
Ok, I did all that, but -
It still shows up on the selling item pages as I am filling it out.
I don't see it on any my auction pages, but still.
grrrrr and poo on ebay for making this a "have to opt out off" thing.
