>>sniff<< I lost a feedback point!

Question
I got this e-mail from eBay today. At first I thought it was probably a spoof, but it wasn't.
Dear classy*castle,

A user whom you have recently transacted with has been indefinitely suspended from eBay within 90 days of registration. We have removed any feedback they left for you or others.

eBay removes feedback when a user is indefinitely suspended for certain policy violations within 90 days of registration. eBay takes the position that members indefinitely suspended soon after registration shouldn't be able to permanently impact another member's account.

Regards,
eBay
I wouldn't have minded at ALL if the comment had been negative (LOL!), but I don't like losing positives!
.

Answer
I thought you meant you lost a point to the right of the decimal - like going from a 99.9 to 99.8!!!!!

Answer
I don't know if I think that's fair.
If you had a positive legal transaction with them, you should be able to keep
your feedback.

Doobeedog, it's to avoid what people in China were doing by creating thousands of accounts, and boosting up feedback to appear reputable and then get away with performing buying/selling scams. The system is a good one, but I don't believe it was ever set up to be fair to customers, it's much more of an issue of scams and hassle for eBay, but I do believe it's fair.
