Question
To whom it may concern:
In reference to your reply The items are on backorder. Fraudulent? Hardly, you've been refunded. As for the little boy we apologize to him , let me first say that your apology is appreciated. However, it IS fraudulent to advertise for sale in a "Buy it Now" auction an item which you do not have in stock at the time of the auction. Since we had been considering purchasing this item from you for a while, it is clear that you did not have the item in stock at the time I bid on it. While I also appreciate the immediate refund, it does nothing to rectify the lack of the item. I will be reporting xxxxxx to ebay and leaving negative feedback.
My reply was simply. Sunshine and lollipops couldn't make this buyer happy. I stated that I'd stoop with her and leave a neg. Just had to ....but it was incorrectly done. My bad again. Garsh, maybe she's a lawyer since it's now fraud vs double dipping...
You know what? Life went on today just fine. Trust me. These small interferences are nothing in the whole of the real picture of life.
Who's your kook? Share.
Answer
Huh?
Maybe you need to explain it in smaller works for me since I'm blonde.
You did a BIN on an item you didn't have in hand?
Unless this was stated clearly in the auction I would have been miffed too.
Answer
Of course I screwed up. Life went on today as I stated. With over 4k items up, I admit, i screw up from time to time. You really take life serious? I had items listed that sold in the store (b/m) that didn't get removed. It happens. Not a life threatening cituation like some deal with daily. She got refunded within 4 hours. No loss other than high expectations.
Answer
You screwed up, you deserve a neg.
Leaving a retaliatory neg will not get you any sympathy here, no matter how many items you have up. Especially with your cavalier attitude towards customer service.
Answer
What harm was done, she got her refund and apology. Neg for that? Bah!

Pfffffffffffffffffffttt...

Sheesh... I'd hate to think what if every time I screwed up I got a neg.
Mistakes happen.. IMO, this wouldn't warrant a NFB... the buyer was refunded, they're out nothing.
A NFB would imply that the buyer would never come back. So, having said that, if Land's End or Sears screws up an order, but immediately rectifies it, one would never go back to them?
Just one chance is all an ebay seller gets, I guess.
As far as the retaliatory... I will agree that that was unfounded, also... but that's just my opinion.
Life does go on...
Cheers
Answer
That's my point. I admitted I screwed up. My mistake, refunded, apologized, then moved on. But a neg? That's not the customer I'm looking to bend over backwards for anyways. She bid on two items in 6 months on ebay. I really don't think I'll miss her. I'll simply pay more attention to the listings. Hell, as a buyer, I've been taken more times than I've screwed up. And, yes, life did go on. And no I didn't neg the others either. Her smarmy attitude got her what she needed today.

I thought from this statement you had tried to leave a neg.
Answer
I did.

Is this one of those deals where ebay messes up the store inventory numbers and doesn't remove some of the inventory even when it sells?
Wasn't there another thread here today about that?
