Canadians - 10 Cent Listing Day December 30th (Monday)

Question
Hey everyone, I'm too lazy to post the image, but it's the usual. 10 cent listing day for both auctions and Fixed price I believe, and ofcourse your account will be credited by March 16th (keep 'em honest on that one!).
I might list a few things, but I've given up on the promotions ever since we got in our own cycle of listing items and I don't need to list 20 items at $1.20-4.80 just for the credit when the item will probably go unsold.
Happy sales to you , and post your results here if you like !

Answer
Hey Roundabout. Do you want to fast-forward one month?

Answer
Hey, that doesn't sound like a bad idea! Thansk for the link, correction to OP - Credited by March 15, not March 16.

Answer
Thanks for the heads up, Roundabout!

Answer
It says you can list on eBay.com too!!! Woo-hoo, now THAT'S cool. Finally some recognition for Canadian sellers who choose to list on eBay.com... I'm actually going to take advantage of this one!

Answer
Hmmm... on the promotion page they make it sound like it's always been this way. But the last Canadian promotions I've checked out (gave up on them after a while), have always been either you have to list in CDN$ on the .CA site or you had to be registered on .CA not .COM... Have I been missing out? When did they change this?
Debra

Answer
Well, the past few ones that I"ve been a part of Debra have allowed sellers who are registered in Canada to list on eBay.ca or eBay.com. I found out that it didn't matter which site you listed on at this very site here (Thanks people !), which is one of the reasons I'm MORE than happy to help out right back!
It's funny that you get charged .10 US if you list on .com, and $.10 CAD if you list on .ca. I think I'll be a big spender and list on .com to spare myself the hassle of exchange :-P

Answer
To date I have received no notice of the promotion. Not even in "My messages". Thanks, eBay!
Guess I need to stay current around here to know what the bleep is going on.

Answer
Jube333,
If your eBay ID was registered on eBay Canada you would have received a message about the promotion in My eBay.
I believe (not positive) that any Canadian resident who registers on eBay US automatically has their registration switched to eBay Canada.
However, if you registered on eBay US prior to the existence of eBay Canada, then the registration remains on eBay US unless you fill out the on-line form to have it moved to eBay Canada.
I have a couple of IDs on eBay US which were created prior to eBay Canada. I also have a later 3rd ID created on eBay US after eBay Canada was formed. That 3rd ID gets the eBay Canada promotions messages. The first two IDs do not.
This particular promotion today is different than the last 5 or 6 eBay Canada 10 cent promotions which applied to both eBay U.S. and eBay Canada in that it doesn't state that Canadian residents have to be registered on eBay Canada.
By the way, I only use my 3rd ID for eBay Canada promotions. I don't like the fact that all fees related to that ID are in Canadian dollar equivalent on my eBay invoice, even though I always list in U.S. dollars.

Irene:
I have 1 ID that is registered with ebay US and one with ebay Canada and neither ID has yet received notification of the promotion.
My hubby's is on ebay Canada and he hasn't got notification yet either.
