Question
I bought a book on eBay and received it yesterday straight from Amazon. I looked it up on the Amazon website and the Amazon price is exactly the same as the eBay price. Shipping was reasonable. The packing slip marks it as a gift to me from the seller.
How can this seller make any money with fees and all? Must be a slim margin, very slim.
Answer
Could be the seller was just covering their assets because they sold the ebay listed book twice...???
Answer
It was a BIN and it's listed again.
Answer
That is very weird.
Did they use an Amazon mailing invoice? AND an ebay one? They are buying from themselves at AZ to ship ebay orders? huh?
Answer
Speaking from experience, the seller probably could not find the book and ordered it for you. Then after he did that he found his copy so he listed it. Been there, done that.

Answer
The book came directly from Amazon. It is a brand new book. The only packing slip was from Amazon stating the book was a gift from the seller.

Then it does sound like this seller did exactly what several others did above. He couldn't find the book, ordered it for you from Amazon and had it shipped directly to you so you'd get it faster... I'd say that's pretty good service. The he found the book and listed it... Didn't make any money probably but he got you the book you paid him for...
