Question
I thought I could get to know all of you a little better if we shared a couple of things. How about...
1. One or 2 things that happened to you in the past month in regards to your eBay selling that made you happy...
2. One thing that hasn't happened to you yet that you're dreading...
I'll go first!!
1. Listing some items before Christmas got me back into selling again, maybe my basement will look better in a few months. And selling a used item I wasn't sure would do well for $80.00, and I had originally put a BIN on it of $69.99...
2. Dreading my first Negative feedback...
Predictions: Kevin_T dreads his first PayPal chargeback...

Happy: Becoming friends with a bidder who has a daughter the same age as my sister (they even have the same first name) ... but her daughter is often in the hospital due to an illness. She bought a bunch of handmade items from me to give as Christmas gifts. I got the impression that her budget was tight, so I sent her and her daughter a bunch of extra stuff. They were tickled pink. I was glad to do it, because her e-mails always brighten my day.
Dread: I can't really think of anything I haven't already experienced transaction-wise , but with all these senseless/erroneous eBay suspensions running rampant, I dread the day it's my turn! (knocking frantically on wood!)

What a nice story, thanks for sharing.

We had an unexpected flurry of post Christmas sales -that was nice.
Not sure we have anything left to dread. We've made mistakes; we're been yelled at; we've had a couple negs; we've had all our auctions closed (the friday night before a holiday weekend); we've had a bad check (but only one).
We've never had a chargeback but I wouldn't say we're dreading it as I expect it will happen.
I guess what I most dread is coming to the conclusion that ebay no longer makes financial sense for us before I'm ready. Since I do this as a volunteer, I don't really want to get into a full scale mail order business. Don't have time to really. So keep limping along on ebay for now.

Answer
eBay Happy? Cash. Nice thick bundles of it. "Ringle-jingle, coins when they mingle make such a lovely sound..."
personal Happy? Having a healthy and well-cared-for family.
eBay Dread? Nothing. After you've been suspended three times in less than a year, there's nothing left to dread. The only thing worse is permanent lifetime suspension and eBay would be doing me a favor if they slapped that on me.
personal Dread? The inevitable future loss of a once-in-a-lifetime loved one.
