You've probably already found what you need Gabs, but in case not, here's a few stats as of 12/1/05 (click the links for more current info):

Answer
thanx Red, I didn't find those stats and I need them, but I did find some, in of all places, in their third quarterly earning report, I had to read half the boring thing but I gleened a bit of info out of it.
I can definitely use that info.

Answer
Gabs,
I was going to suggest the quarterly reports. I used to compare those types of stats annually, until they changed the format and my browser couldn't read them.
Some of the info shown on the Bidfloor page (RetroRed's link) looks to be very old, or innacurate. For example "10,000: Number of people who visit eBay Motors every month." - while at this very minute, there are 957,620 items listed in Ebay Motors. No matter how much Ebay pads their figures, I believe that there are substantially more than 10,000 people a month looking at those auctions. I am surprised by how high the percentage of bidders whose lists I look at bid on cars, let alone the many more who buy parts, accessories or memorabilia that is listed in Ebay motors. With almost a million items listed there in mid January, I would think there should be at least 10,000 people a day "visiting" Ebay motors.
Are there any links to recent Ebay quarterly reports that are in HTML? Better yet, let me know next week when the current quarterly report is released.
Cheers, Kevin

Answer
Hi Kevin. You can go to the SEC's website in order to view ALL of eBay's past filings in either text or HTML (HTML is easier to read). The last 10-Q filing is on the 2nd page of results: http://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-ed...ion=getcompany
You should enable active scripting or add www.sec.gov to your Trusted Zone in order to easily navigate through the site.

Answer
Thanks Blanche,
According to an Auctionbytes article Ebay's next quarterly statement is due out on the 18th, so I will go and look then.
Kind Regards, Kevin

Answer
Kevin, here is eBay's 3rd quarter 10-Q Report (Quarterly Report) filed with the SEC in HTML format:
http://investor.ebay.com/EdgarDetail...-803&SID=05-00
The best report for eBay statistics is the the 10-K Report (Annual Report) filed with the SEC. It has lots of data. Last year the 10-K report was filed on February 28.
Here is where you can access the 10-Q and 10-K reports in HTML format:
http://investor.ebay.com/Edgar.cfm?D...uarterly&Year=
The Annual Report that is received by shareholders can always be accesssed on this page in HTML format and incorporates the 10-K data. It may be easier to read on-line than the actual 10-K filing with the SEC:
http://investor.ebay.com/annual.cfm
Although the 4th Quarter results are due on on January 18, that would be preliminary and would focus on the actual financial statements and comparison of those the results with the previous year - not much in the way of other statistics. It's too early in the year. Accountants focus first on preparing the financial statements.
