Bid Ebay? MyPoints!

Question
No doubt... this is somewhere off in the freebie/frugal section and has probably been mentioned around here a zillion times... but, if so, well, I FORGOT!
I just started using My Points again... its a way to get gift certificates for many places.
WELL. Just happened to see.... "You will receive 2 Points per Dollar for every purchase you make (excluding those in the real estate, auto and travel categories). If you have previously registered with eBay, you will earn 2 Points per Dollar. There is no need to re-register. Note: eBay will remember you only for a period of seven days from the point you make your initial bid. If your auction is more than seven days from ending, please make sure you check your auction through MyPoints within the closing seven days. This will ensure you receive your Points."
So, if we're going to be bidding and buying ANYWAY, why not take a discount! Needless to say, you'll need to log into your My Points account and go into Ebay from there!

Answer
Thank you. Last time I paid any attention to it you had to be a new user to earn points. Now I get to earn and buy at the same time.

Answer
I thought they did away with Mypoints.

Answer
I know they did away with giving points for bidding only. Now they've had points for registering and winning. Now they evidently have points for winning if you are already registered. Maybe that's why there are so many NPBs lately.

How do people sign up for this one?

Answer
Just go to mypoints and use the drop down box and choose ebay. then there is a clickable image(not the one that says register for ebay) and if you click on that it tells you what to do.
ETA-if you are going to bid on anything on ebay go through mypoints because if you win you get points.

Yea, isn't that sweet: "2 Points per Dollar for every purchase"! WISH I had known this a couple weeks ago, especially when those coupons were running! I watched one of those Time Life Info-mercials the other day... I think I'd like to have the 70s music Explosion set. Maybe after Christmas, the price will come down on Ebay... Time Life is about $120, Ebay about $100.

mypoints.com?

Answer
Yes, I'm sorry-I just assumed you knew lol. I've been a member forever, since about 2 or so months after they started-sometimes it seems that everyone should know They are one of the few that has survived and actually been a reputable company.
I've gotten a lot of rewards. I'm currently sitting over 11,000 points just waiting to decide what to get

MOMGC -- I looked over the site earlier -- do they not offer a referral (credit) link anymore? That would be the BOMB with this! Too... what was the other site that used to be pretty good? Had the hitchhiker, with different points that would pop up? They used to offer pretty good rewards, I've lost track of it... probably left quite a few points behind in the shuffle, too.
I just remembered -- FREERIDE. Now to see what they have and if I can remember my old log-in, or if I'll have to start fresh, if its worth it. Do you use this one?

Well, horsepoo.... I remember the email to use, but can't recall the password... lost that email account a long time ago, can't get into it either... AND, the help page for free ride won't work.
They have something for Ebay, too, but without being logged in, I can't see exactly what it is.
