I have a stalker that's been bothering me for well over a year now, going on 2years in a few months. Been messing with one of my old seller ids. Thought it was safe to list again so started listing stuff last month on that account during the ten cent fixed price listing day. This person has main account suspended for various reasons, including ripping numerous buyers off. I helped her get suspended. Last time I listed she created phony id and won all my items then too. Interesting enough her phony ids are always male aliases. Ebay hasn't done anything to prevent this from happening. So she did it again and slammed the account with negs and I filed form after form with ebay and ebay has done nothing. Then this person filed item not received/described dispute with ebay and even though I gave my side to ebay, including the fact that I hadn't been paid, ebay sided with this person and issued a nonperforming seller strike against me with no appeal process that I could find.
Then, even though I had a negative balance owed and had paid the ebay fees with paypal, ebay 15 days later tried to withdraw the amount I'd already paid 15 days earlier from my bank account that is closed. The same bank account that is closed because of their half.com site attaching same said account to someone else's half.com account. So I sure as heck wasn't going to give them another account number to mess up. I think 15 days is enough time to properly credit my seller account and not try to make withdraws. So then they slapped me with a $15.00 fee because the bank withdraw failed. So I went from ebay owing me money to owing ebay money because of ebay's deliberate/convenient error. I refuse to pay it and told ebay so. So now because of the nonperforming seller strike and ebay's fee thing, I'm being threatened with suspension and they will if I don't pay their fees they slammed on me.
But I'm okay with it overall. I'm just so pissed, but I know I'll survive it. I just wish I'd not fooled myself into thinking that with the passing of time this nutball had gotten a life and started listing again with that account.
Just a vent. Now I'm going to do laundry. Have a pleasant day.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I am angry WITH YOU at eBay for this crap they pulled on you! Siding with the buyer just pushed my buttons, and the rest only added to my disgust.
Will you be selling on alternative sites, or stop for good?

I'm working on my own ecrater storefront. I'm still figuring things out, but it's nice in lots of ways. Plus, it's free, so all the money is mine (minus paypal fees of course).

Better plan on opening a seller account with BidPay, etc. as PayPal being eBay owned could very likely result in an unexpected whack from them too.
You could hire an attorney and threaten them but in the long run that costs more than it is worth, and their agreement allows them to make you pay their legal costs.

I didn't think ones status on ebay affected ones paypal status? I also thought bidpay was for ebay auctions? I do have a bidpay account.
Another thing that gets me about this whole thing is I have been ripped off before where I had proof the seller received the payment, and ebay didn't do anything to the seller. But this person didn't even pay and ebay takes the PBFH's word for it.

A suggestion... go into your Ebay seller preferences and require a minimum of Xnumber feedback and/or (at least) do not allow a buyer to buy more than x number of items from you within x number of days.

I got back a nasty gram from ebay. I replied to the message I got saying I got a nonperforming seller strike and told them what I thought of it. The only thing in my message to them, however, that could be construed as profanity is my calling the decision "retarded". I have been informed that the only way I can get the nonperforming strike removed from my account is to submit proof of delivery of the items that I wasn't even paid for to ebay and they'd consider removing the strike. They didn't even acknowledge the fact that I hadn't even been paid. And they chastized my "profanity" in my response to them. Then they went on about how what I'd done (not shipping items) was a serious matter and one more infraction and I'm suspended. Well since I'm not paying for their fees I don't/shouldn't even owe them, that's that. I'm tired of dealing with their assinine policies and constant billing errors. I spent last year with them constantly billing my credit card over and over again for same bill until my cc got maxed out and I got penalized with my cc company and ebay slammed me with fees then too saying that the payment didn't go through.
I couldn't sell under that id anymore anyway, not with nearly 20 negs on my fb claiming that I'm a thief. So all those years of good customer service are toast because of one psycho.

Wow... unfreakinbelieveable. So glad I have not had anything go majorly haywire like that... I'd be ready to go picket Ebay. Another Chickadee around here did that, some time back. HTG, they wouldn't want me on their back. I get so bent out of shape sometimes, I'm like the witch from hades.
