Question
Our cable company forced us to change our email addresses from lvcm.com to cox.net. They have allowed a couple of months to get everything changed over but as of 12/17/03 we will no longer be able to receive emails at the old address.
I have spent weeks searching through CA, AW, Ebay, Paypal, etc to change everything everywhere, but today I received another Paypal payment sent to the wrong address.
Has anyone else had this problem? I know it is probably from some of my old ads that I relisted during fixed price, but what do you do?
If they continue can you email the person and ask them to cancel the payment and resend it? I had to go back in this morning and add the lvcm.com email back to my profile on Paypal to receive today's payment, but that won't work in less than 2 weeks.

I had the same problem and besides editing the relists with the old address, I don't know of another way.
However, as long as that email address is on your paypal account, you'll get the money. The email address doesn't have to be working. I dont' think you'll get the payment received email from paypal of course or any correspondence from your buyers http://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_frown.gif since I think they send all the payment received emails to the email the payment was sent to rather than the main email address on your paypal account.

Thank you! I don't worry too much about the notices but I was afraid they would stop accepting funds to it when a few of them bounced back to Paypal.
I quit trusting those emails some time back, and just check in every night to see who has paid me and get the packages ready for the next morninghttp://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_smile.gif
