Whatcha think? I would call it "curious". As to it being hateful or promoting nazis, I don't think so, despite the Iron Cross and Hitler moustache. I am among the few that think eBay's ban on all images with nazi connotations is fascist in itself, but eBay is able to make its own rules. And it has a very clear reputation of enforcing them most unevenly.

Answer
A little about the artist: he has created a whole series of "elvi" based on pop and "horror" culture. A Frankenstien, wolfman, geisha girl, the devil and many more.
Most are pretty funny.
He is by no means a nazi or racist. I've listed several of his works on ebay, not just this one (Elvis Aryan Pres..) so it wasnt like we were promoting hitler nazis or hate.

Answer
Yep. The thought police gotcha. I seem to recall that France and Germany started this Nazi ban stuff with eBay over enforcing their Laws on eBay's sales which could occur in their country. Forget antiques or any collectibles related to "them" or bearing "their" symbols.
If you relist these off-eBay I'd make sure not to sell any into a country where you might have criminal Law problems resulting from their interpretation of your friend's "Elvis."

Answer
Funny thing is, German stamps w/ Hitler from WW2, actual propaganda, is allowed.
A pict of an actor playing Hitler is allowed.
But a comic portrayal of Hitler is not?
As for ebay's rules, I think it just depends on the mood of the "enforcer".
It reminds me of a passage from the novel "The Fountainhead".
Something about a monster with no brain that cannot be reasoned with.

But a comic portrayal of Hitler is not? If that's their logic, then "The Producers" should also be banned...

Or maybe eBay doesn't get the joke?

There are lots of examples of wierd rules or applications of rules. One is the application of the african american or black americana memorabilia rule for collectibles and antiques.
Example: a cast iron black americana bank of insulting or offensive topic. Brand new reproduction bank? They are banned. And they should be banned.
A reproduction bank 50 years old and thus antique by some standards, certainly worth several hundred dollars, and very collectible? Also banned. Huh? Now, even Oprah reportedly collects items like this as memorabilia of things that happened historically that should not have. These are the ones collectors are likely to find and be able to afford for their collections.
But if you're lucky enough to be selling an original bank, which is just as insulting, but it is from the late 1800s, well you can list that one on eBay. I imagine both eBay and the seller might be happy with one of these since some can be worth tens of thousands of dollars. Hmm...wonder what the FVF would be on those... These are rare and people are unlikely to have them.
Of course, at any time, you can probably search on cast iron banks and find some of the insulting new reproduction ones listed and eBay doesn't seem to flinch unless someone reports the individual auction. Even then, they apparently don't police the category, only that one auction, if they have time. A few moments ago I searched the "cast iron bank" category and found brand new reproduction offensive black americana cast iron banks listed in violation of the rules...

I take offense at anyone advertising Hungarian, blonde / blue eyed speaks with a slight accent, under 5' 9" and under 180lbs., eBay member for 7 years, memorabilia from the fifties on back. How rude can anyone be to advertise this type of filth! If I ever see it on eBay, I will sue them and end up owning eBay for their callous disregard of my sensitive feelings.Hrmphhhh.
Real opininon:
I despise thought police, whether from those weanies from France and Germany (what would they have done without tens of thousands of US soldiers getting killed in WWII to save their collective asses, because they were too cowardly to do it themselvers, so these buffoons can spit on us now!).
An opinion is an opinion, which means you don't have to agree with it if you don't like the opinion.
But banning images of monsters, why stop at Hitler? He's a babe in the woods compared to Mao Tse-Tung who exterminated 10's of millions of innocent civilians, or Stalin ditto, or Pol Pot ditto.
How selling anything can be constured as promoting their agenda is beyond me.
