Question
Surprised I haven't seen this mentioned yet. Shows you how excited we all get nowadays from ebays wonderous promos.
Anyway, for Canadian citizens, its 10 cent listing day on ebay.ca.
One of those pay full now, credit you later.
I figure I might as well pile the stuff on.

Hey Jill, I've been so busy with my partner fixing our templates and planning which items we want to promote the most that I forgot to mention it here.
We'll be blitzing like mad on this one. We're Canadian but use American distributors, so we usually list on eBay.com. But, we received the invitation from eBay.ca to list for 10 cents, so we'll list there and make shipping available to both American and Canadian buyers. Not too sure how this is going to work out for us with pricing, but we'll give it a shot.
Thanks for announcing it!

Even when listing on ebay.ca, you can list in US dollars. I do, as 95% of my customers are Americans.

I have always listed on the US site. Except for an event like today's sale, why would one list on .ca, especially if you were using US$?
Wondering.

I keep wanting to get around to changing myself over from the core site (joined when there was no ebay.ca).
The main benefit is getting the taxes added to totals from Canadian buyers and the shipping services are from Canada.
Thants about the main benefits.

You can list on eBay U.S. for this event. Scroll down the Announcement to the section entitled "Who Is Included":

To be 100% absolutely sure your eBay seller ID qualifies, just check your eBay messages in your My eBay. There should be an e-mail from eBay to you announcing this event.
I'm not sure if your ID qualifies if your seller ID was registered on eBay U.S. prior to the advent of eBay Canada, even if you are a Canadian.
However, if you did receive the messagel from eBay Canada in your My eBay, then that means your ID is registered on eBay Canada.

Thanks for the advice Jill and Irene. We're waiting til 8ish to post so our items end at a good time. We did register with eBay.ca and received the message. I just wish we could cash in on US listing days as well lol. Luckily for us, it appears that Canadian sellers need more of a push to get items up than American sellers.
Answer
Don't forget that eBay Canada is on Eastern time so the promotion ends tonight at midnight Eastern time.

Roundabout - of course you can take advantage of the U.S. promotions. Those promotions are not restricted to U.S. residents. I've been doing it since 1998 - just make sure you list on eBay U.S. for those.
