Question
I retain my home page with my one day selling list in this format. I also retain most selling lists that I watch on a 30 day completed in the same format.
23 hours ago, and as I write now, the hundred odd listings that should show up on my selling list do not show up at all. Last night they dissappeared for half an hour, and the auction that finished in that time frame dissappeared entirely from the Ebay search for the same period. "My Ebay" does not show me as having any listings while my seller list has dissappeared in this way, BUT I can access my seller list by going through my feedback to one of my auctions and clicking on view sellers other auctions (although the single auction that finished over that period did not show up last night when I went this way about things).
I am not particularly bothered by a single glitch (although last night's may have cost me a snipe), but I am concerned if my listings are dissappearing from bookmarked lists with regularity. It is not the format which is the problem, as when I replace my ID with any other active Ebay ID in the same URL, their auctions are showing while mine still do not.
Are there any other reports of other users being affected in a similar way?
Selfishly, I don't really like losing business because buyers think I have no listings if they check my listings at the wrong time.
Mildly concerned at this stage, Kevin

NOTE: After the period it took to write my long-winded post, my auctions are once again showing on the URL I used above. I do still wish to know whether any other reports of this problem have surfaced anywhere.

... and my auctions (and my Ebay) are gone again NOW, although when I put other sellers (Australian, USA and Britain) into the same URL they are ALL working.
Seriously are there any other reports of this happening to anyone else. This is way too often for comfort.

Answer
Posts all over the boards that "My eBay' information, including my own, is missing. Might be a connection between these problems.
Just finished Thomas Keneally's book the Great Shame which I really enjoyed and will be posting about later. His writings about early settlements in Australia are great and I enjoy his style.

Thanks Ray,
I guess I just grin and bear an intermittent selling list. I don't understand why it only strikes down some lists in a given format though, I don't like losing any format when I have auctions finishing.
Cheers, Kevin (familiar with, but never read, Thomas Keneally)

I went to My eBay late last night and had 0 auctions running. Went to the Sold Items page and everything I had sold was gone. Went back to My eBay and suddenly I had listings again.
I just figured it was another case of 2 eBay servers dropping a connection and the operators in the data center being too busy sleeping to notice the error messages scrolling by on their screens.
After the bad old days of eBay servers going down just as auctions I was interested in were closing, a few minor slip-ups are something I can live with.

Mine are appearing and disappearing as well Kevin. I noticed it sometime last week.
Sometimes the 10 listings I have up shrink to 5 - and since I have BINs on all of them, I figure they all sold. Wrong. When I go to MyEbay to invoice the winners, there they are, still running.
Last night I checked them, and 3 of the 5 auctions scheduled to end in 5 hours showed as ENDED (in red). The one that had a bid showed as SOLD (in green).
I reloaded the page and they were back running with 5 hours to go.
Really weird.

Jeff,
It is a minor slip-up if it happens briefly, is identified and fixed. If it phantomly affects your selling list as auctions are finishing (two days in a row for me now), while other auction lists are unaffected, then you have absolutely no recourse while it may have a substantial effect on your income.
There is no way of knowing which method buyers have used to get to your auctions (so you may not be affected, or a sniper may not be able to find the auction if they use the type of seller list I use), there is no way of proving that your auction list dissappeared at any given time, and because no other seller lists were apparently affected at the same time there is no proof that any access was affected at all. In the last two days, I have lost my selling list as, or just before, I have had items finishing while everyone I checked had a working seller list. I have no way of knowing whether Ebay accepts that this glitch is even happening, is attempting to fix it, or considers it so remote and random that it doesn't matter. By their policy that the site should be completely innaccessible to count as down time, I have no claim that I am affected in any way at all (and if no one intended to snipe or bid, then I was not affected in any way).
If this is ongoing, I do not consider it a minor slip-up if any individual is being regularly affected by it.
Just how I see it, Kevin

G'day Nan,
Mine were not showing up as ended either. It sounds like there is a series of glitches - I just hope that they are being attended to.
Kind Regards, Kevin
