Question
I am planning to ship a motorcycle frame, but it is too big for ups or fedex or usps. Is craters and freighters the best way to go?
Seller is paying shipping.
Thanks
Rachel

Try greyhound. They are reasonable. Of course, the buyer has to pick it up at the bus station but if it's not too inconvenient for them it will be worth it.

Thanks so much, only problem I can see besides the bus station issue is the frame is already at over $900 bid! and greyhound will only ship under $300 declared value.

I've been using Danzas trucking company (now owned by DHL) for over 3 years to ship anything over 80lbs. Their rates are the same as UPS but will take anything and any size.
I found that strapping it to a wooden pallette makes it easier to handle, especially when it's an odd shaped item like a bike frame. This way a forklift will handle it and will arrive undamaged.
