Swastika stuff?

Question
I have some theater programs, written in German. They are pretty cool looking, but they have a small swastika on the front!
I went to list one last night, and checked on "swastika" on eBay and saw over 2000 items listed, so I thought maybe they'd changed the rule. Of course, they NARU'd mine.
Should I not have listed swastika in the title? Can I relist and not use the "S" word? Or the "N" word? Or should I just sell them on Yahoo?

Answer
Fill out the web form in a link of your cancelation email and ask them..I had a 1937 edition of Hitler's Mein Kempf book canceled by Ebay 2 weeks ago so I asked them what the deal was as there were plenty of them on Ebay.
They said the english version was allowed but not the German version..if you relist and they catch you again they will most certainly suspend your account for at least 30 days.

Answer
Or should I just sell them on Yahoo? They were banned on Yahoo Auctions in January 2001 as a result of a couple of court cases

Answer
It is always hit~miss with eBay and stuff with Swastikas on them.
I had no problem listing a 1938 VW factory groundbreaking pin with a HUGE swastika on it....but I did keep it OUT of the title, listed the countries i would NOT ship it too (like Germany), AND really pushed the historical aspect of it in my description. I have even sold old KKK paper stuff by adding a disclaimer that it is being sold as historical collectibles ONLY and that I personally find the contents repulsive. Sometimes they "permit" stuff based more on presentation than on what it actually *IS*.....and there is most certainly a legimate collector base for such items.
Since they have already nuked one auction for it....definitely get something in an email from them that says HOW you can list it AND meet their "rule of the day."

Definitely do this...
However, it is not a lost cause... DH has sold several things with swastikas that are on them. The swastikas seem to be banned if they are used in a manner that promotes hate. However, if they are of historical value only, you may be able to list them. However, I agree with all others already posted here... get it in writing from the great ebay gods first, otherwise their wrath may come upon you.

Answer
I've emailed them, begging for mercy.
And if they turn me down, I'll just add a new category to my website and add them there. They won't sell as fast, but I know they'll go. I just don't know how much to list them for!

Answer
If begging for mercy doesn't work, you also might want to try ePier which is where a lot of the items banned by both eBay and Yahoo are now being sold.

Answer
Cover the swas in the pic and empisise the date of the item, with german collectable. Leave out all refrence to swas.
Also dual list the item in millitary colectables.
Edited to add the catagory.

Answer
Cover the swas in the pic Do not do this. Nothing would pizz off the winning bidder more than to find out their vintage theater program has swatikas on them.
