I discovered something interesting.
I did a lot of listing yesterday to take advantage of the promotion. Most of the items were expired listings from my store and I diligently (I thought) changed all the quantities to 1.
Well, I messed up and by mistake left multiple quantities on some of the auctions.
I just checked my account - eBay only charged me 10 cents for each of those auctions, despite the fact that they were multiple quantity auctions. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_smile.gif
I thought I'd pass that information along as eBay seems to have fixed price auction promotions a couple of times a year.
I wish I would have known yesterday. I have at least 50 auctions which I could have made multiple quantity auctions and didn't. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_frown.gif

I got 20 up and a lot of reduced prices from my Ruby Lane items..good holiday buys, so should do okay. We'll see... I don't know if fixed price does as well as regular auctions tho.

I decided to end all of my store items and relist as fixed price items. Didn't/don't have any expectations since I have never ran any fixed price auctions ever so really don't know what to expect but figured at 10 cents each it will be a fairly cheap learning experience. Woke up to five items being sold this morning.
One of my goals is to try to turn over my entire inventory by the end of the year and then plan my buying strategy for next year based on the research I am doing now. With my ebay fees double what they were and my sell through rate half what it was, I need to rethink the collectibles I buy and sell (not the first time I've done this in the last 7 years on ebay!).
