Answer
Bump

Answer
The lobbying eBay does, and claims to do for the good of the "community" is not as innocuous as the "Gov" webpagae makes it seem.
Meg and her cohorts went to town when the SEC was proposing that their stock payments be counted as income, and that revenue actually be reflected in financials and included in the sharholders accounting reports. Meg and other CEO's with huge stock payo0ffst were successful, and these payments continue to be disguised as other than income and not counted as an expense.
eBay has also been hard at work fighting other govenment regulations that holds them accountable to anyone but themselves.
Of course, there will come a time when eBay may need us, their humble customers, to write our particular congressman. When that time comes, I will carefully consider doing so, as I often do.
However eBay's track record for responding to our needs, and for telling us the truth is anything but exemplary. In fact, I would look for the hidden agenda in anything they asked me to do as a voter. Their kind of management leaves me most mistrustful of anything they say.
