Do You Need a Postage Scale?

Question
There is one listed in the OCM!

Answer
I went right over and bid on it (bids are not too high yet). The 5# max. is less than I'd like, but it would be useful.
Thanks for posting the link.

Answer
I already have a 5# scale or I would be bidding myself. We find that 5# covers about 90% of what we ship. YMMV

Answer
We find that 5# covers about 90% of what we ship. Same here, but occasionally I ship a box of yarn that's 7 or 8 pounds.
The one-ounce increments feature sounds good, for the fat letters I sometimes mail.

Answer
lisanoel, stay away from that scale.

Answer
lisanoel, stay away from that scale. Why, is it haunted? Or are you bidding on it too?

Answer
Yes, that's it, it's haunted. Of course I'm not bidding on it. Why would I want a haunted scale?
Joan

Answer
Hi: I received an email asking for the measurments of the scale. Here they are: 6 x 6 x 3.
Thanks,

Answer
I use a 5# scale and love it! If I am mailing a heavy package of books . . . I weigh them in batches and add the weight of the box to get a total. 99.9% of my stuff over 5# doesn't ship USPS anyway, so the 5# limit really isn't a factor for me!

Answer
That one is a HELLUVA lot nicer than the one we got from Stamps.com six years ago!

((((I think we paid 60 clams for it, too!))))

Cheers
